Passport of old type (Soviet Union) no longer available in Russia

This is an Old type certificate of pedigree that has been an official passport for all Russian horses in Former Soviet Union until the 1991! There were three different versions of this certificate: Blue one for trotters, yellow or greenish for all riding breeds and brown for draft horses. But sometimes it is so happens that Purebred Trakehner could very easy get Blue passport.


	In early nighties sometimes it is so happens that Stud farm did not have enough original letterheads and they used for certificate of pedigree just simple copies of them.




	Certificate of Pedigree consisted of three pages: Front page, that had information about horse name, color, date of birth, sex and breed; Back side of front page, that had again the same information as front page and additionally full description of the horse and information about Stud Farm where the horse has been born. This page also supposed to have a stamp of the stud farm! Last and third page had pedigree information and sort of evaluation form! The old type Certificate of Pedigree has no picture or any kind of graphic description of horse!

	All the horses that have received this sort of documents later then in 1991, should pass the blood or DNA confirmation test, send the results to All Russia Institute of Horse breeding and change Old type, invalid documents to proper ones, issued by the same Institute! There is one exception to this - Russian Riding Horses, which gets its new papers with Tmimirjazev Academe in Russia.
