Russian Warmblood Association Rules.

MEMBERSHIP WITH RWA

Any person or farm can be a member of RWA if it meets the following requirements:

The person or farm should own at least one Warmblood horse of Russian origin.

RWA can accept only those horses who have been confirmed and registered with Russian studbooks

The person or farm should regularly pay RWA membership fees.

 

MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURES

The person or Farm that would like to join the RWA should complete the Membership form and pay the fees according to Fees Schedule for the current year.

 

CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION with Russian Studbooks

The horse can be registered with Russian Studbooks according to the Approval and Studbook regulation for each breed, and confirmation of the origin.

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

To get registration papers, the owner should provide all the tests (DNA) to confirm the origin of the horse and breeding certificate. The owner should fill in the Registration form; provide 4 photos of the horse (front, back, left and right views) and pay the fees according to Fees Schedule for the current year.

 

NAMING CONVENTION FOR FOALS

The horses that are born outside of Russia should be named according to Russian Studbook Regulations for each Russian breed.

 

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

Transfer of ownership should be registered with the RWA and the new horse owners should receive new documents for the horse (passport or pedigree certificate) with the correct name listed in there.
